Big Data Engineer - Hadoop/python/hive

• - 4+ Years of experience in relevant role, , Big Data : Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra, , - Excellent exp with Python and NoSql, , - Exp with plug data . analyse, structure and format the data, , - Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute, , Your Responsibility :, , - As an analyst, you would be working as IC
• , - Interact with Walmart cross functional engineering teams as cloud, platform, analytics etc. across geographies to leverage technical expertise and contribute to the engineering community
• , - Engage with Walmart Supply Chain engineering team in Sunnyvale, Benton Ville and work with peer Engineers in team Bangalore to evolve the SCT product, make it pure multi-tenant, global and cloud ready
• , - Work with Engineering Lead/architect to develop the best solution and implementations
• , Key Responsibilities :, , - Work with product, technology and business teams to drive complex data and trend analyses to root cause issues and propose ways to improve platform
• , - Responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics and business trends to partner and management teams, , - Model data in order to create reporting and dashboards for business process management and data mining
• , - Pull data required to conduct business analysis, build reports, dashboards and metrics to monitor the performance
• , - Work with the stakeholders to take data driven decisions
• , Your Qualifications :,- Technical expertise regarding data models, storage schema, data mining and segmentation techniques,- Strong knowledge of SQL and Hive queries,- Hands-on experience in accessing data from NoSQL storages is highly desirable. (CouchBase, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.),- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, R, SPSS, SAS etc.),- Knowledge of JSON, XML would be a plus,- Data visualization and reporting using Tableau, QlikView or Pentaho would be a plus,- Understanding of web analytics tools such as Omniture, Google analytics is a plus,- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in fast paced environment with tight deadlines,- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute,- 4+ Years of experience in relevant role
