Backend Engineer - Python/golang

• We are looking for a a back-end Software Engineer to strengthen our Platforms & Services Core team in Bangalore, India
• , We are working on an ambitious project which will have a huge impact both to our customers and internally, and are building a talented team to pull it off. We are also responsible for the ongoing maintenance of our application back-end
• , We need a bright, talented engineer who is excited about the potential company has to genuinely change the world. You will work with a distributed team set across 3 different countries. We have aggressive growth goals so the ability to lead a team down the line is a real possibility. You will be challenged to push the limits of Web-based platforms
• , You should be passionate about mobile and the opportunities it offers; imaginative about where you see augmented reality, image-recognition and wearables heading; and excited about delivering the highest quality interactive experiences anywhere in the world
• , The main language in our team is Go, but we also use Python extensively. We believe in choosing the right tool for the job, and so different projects may use other technologies. We like our developers to be comfortable with a wide range of technologies, able to pick up new ones easily and eager to do it
• , We expect you to be an experienced coder and technical designer, with a proven track record of designing, building, delivering and maintaining multi-server, scalable systems. A passion for delivering good products is essential
• , We are specifically looking for:, , - 4+ years of experience in any modern programming language. Go or Python would be ideal. However, great candidates who are proficient in other languages and frameworks should be able to pick these up quickly
• , - A deep understanding of how the Web works, from client requests to server-side handling to front-end rendering
• , - Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra), , - Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic, distributed environment is crucial
• , Preferably you also have :, , - Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g
• goroutines, Python's asyncio)
• , - Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service, preferably AWS
• , - Experience with designing and implementing APIs for a service-driven architecture. ,
