Technical Architect - Java/ Algorithm

Job Description

• Responsibilities :, , - Design, develop and own highly scalable software, , - Well versed with architecture and design patterns and able to apply the same when needed
• , - Participate in technical discussions and bring new ideas on the table, , - Own quality of your code (i.e
• unit tests, TDD, and other test methodologies), , - Work with Product Managers, Architects and UX Designers to design and specify new features from the engineering standpoint, , - Support less experienced team members in their progress and development, , Qualifications :,- 10+ years of software engineering experience,- Experience with design, architecture and development of high volume services,- Sound knowledge on large scale distributed systems,- Substantial experience with Object oriented design and programming (java preferred),- Strong in algorithms, data structures and multi-threading,- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills,- Experience with open source tools like Play framework, Spark, Hadoop is a plus,- Experience with various relational databases like Oracle database, Mysql and Postgres,- Experience with No-sql databases is good to have,- Experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods,- Experience with Git is a plus,- Communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design,- Large data analysis and visualization experience is a plus
