The reach of Value Generation spans across over 18 markets across the globe. As a member of the team here are some example of what youll be doing:Taking your place as a core member of an enterprise agile team driving the latest development practicesDeveloping and integrating REST APIs between back-end systems to support a web application used by over 6000 Customer Care ProfessionalsDeveloping and integrating REST APIs between various back-end systems of recordWriting automated unit test cases and conducting code reviews with members of the teamIdentifying opportunities for enhanced analytics and data-driven decision making.Qualifications Qualifications:BS or MS degree in computer science computer engineering or related technical disciplinePrior experience with web development and intermediate proficiency with Javascript is required experience with React is preferredIntermediate proficiency with Java is required experience with microservices and REST API development is preferredAbility to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and implement solutionsWillingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potentialAt the core of Software EngineeringEvery member of our team must be able to demonstrate the following technical functional leadership and business core competencies including:Agile practices and experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira Confluence Bitbucket)Modern development best practices including GitResults-oriented and user-experience focusedAnalytical and data driven
