Tech or AboveJob DescriptionRole and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership to a team of software engineers to build cutting edge software for processors.Drive the successful delivery of all the phases of the development cycle including requirements design development unit testing and integration.Perform design reviews code reviews and test plan reviews.Project resourcing scoping and budgeting.Hands-on coding making new software releases and producing patches.Provide technical hands-on guidance to the software team members.Work with product management for feature definitions and prioritization.Work with Engineering management to manage resources design projects and recruit top talent.Work across functionally with hardware software SQA support and product management teams.Manage software engineering teams in different geographical areas around the worldRequired Experience :10 years experience in an embedded software development environmentAt least 2 years of management experienceFamiliar with embedded development environmentHands-on programming and coding experience with the open source Linux Kernel and UBootDeep understanding of ARM architectureUnderstanding of the CPU sub-system including caches buses and memoryHands-on coding creating a new platform architecture within LinuxProgramming knowledge of Linux kernel internals and Linux networking sub-systemExtensive Linux device drivers programming experienceExperience in using GDB debugging in embedded development platformsStrong C and C programming experienceStrong communication skillsRequired skillsembedded software ARM architecture CPU processors cache device driver linux kernalNOTE : Salary mentioned is only an indication and should be used at own discretion.
