PROJECT MANAGER - IT INDUSTRY (CHANDIGARH REGION)

Job Description

• Manage resource from different business units to deliver their technical solutions. Supporting authority to replace recruit and negotiate resources onto the project within the project budget and as approved by the different technical services business units.Management of a project budget.  Project force is moving towards project or client p&l management but are not there yet. The Project Manager would have responsibility for the profitability of the project and the management of costs and any overspends. They are also responsible for the commercial management of the change control process ensuring all changes to scope have been commercially authorized by the client. Finally the Project Manager is responsible for the base-lining of a project including scope commercials and the underpinning assumptions for delivery of the transition part of the project.Typically the Project Manager needs to develop key relationships with the followingAccount Director or Account Business Unit HeadCustomer and or customer(s) stakeholdersThird parties involved in delivering the project including key partnersSuppliers to the projectAny other duties as required by Management.
