Job Description

• Hydraulic modelling and detailed design of water/waste water sewerage storm water potable water firefighting and irrigation system pipeline networks. Preparation of detailed design reports. Create designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and approve Good For Construction Drawings in consultation with draftsmen. Knowledge of alignment sheets (plan & profile) Horizontal directorial drill for pipes preparation of drawings for various permits client may require. Designing of District Monitoring Areas (DMAs) of a water distribution system.Technical proficiency in suggesting leakage detection and prevention methodologies.Perform water quality and quantity modelling using GIS and statistical techniquesPropose implementation methods and construction steps for a project and co-ordination with pertinent specialists.Technical responsibilities shall include planning design detailed engineering and providing approval for construction activities in the above-mentioned fields by co-ordinating with the concerned officers. Lead the design analysis focused on green infrastructure and low development impact.Ability to design vessels pumps compressors & related piping pig traps metering & regulating pipe supports.Prepare the bill of materials relative to design requirements.Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision and work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.Management responsibilities will include working under the direction of the Project Manager or Sr. Engineers to assist in the development of project scopes and budgets having interaction with clients and assisting with project management activities.Provide technical direction or supervision to junior engineers engineering or computer-aided design (CAD) technicians or other technical personnel.Performing related works as assignedWater Distribution system design using EPANET Water Gems V8i InfoWater or any other standard market software.Hydrological and hydraulic modelling software (SWMM SWAT HEC-RAS).Pumping Station Design.Piping and Equipment Layouts Design.Design of Intake and Jack Wells.Design of Economical Pressurized Transport main considering all losses in valves & Specials.Analysis of Surge occurrence in Pumping Main using SAP-2 VariSim & InfoSurge Software or any other standard market device.Knowledge in selection of different types of Pumps pertinent to various fields.Design of Wet well for Sewerage System.Preparation of Piping & Instrumentation drawings for SCADA Compatible.Sound knowledge about working principal of Centrifugal Pumps VT Pumps & Submersible Pumps.Quality Assurance and Quality Check.
