Quality Analyst

Job Description

• Manual and automated testing of product to ensure business readiness.Partner and work with internal stakeholders to plan test and implement all software changes to ensure that products conform to the desired quality standard.Be accountable for defects and ensuring that systems are operational and "Production Ready.Analyze and document requirement and specifications working with other members of teams team leads as well as business users/owners.Co-ordinate testing with development team and test environments based on availaibility and release time table and deployment plan.Application and workflow analysis sessions joint design sessions and requirement gathering sessions to understand the requirements and objects of the functionality being developed and released.Create test scripts as per workflow and business requirement.Execute functional test cases & integration testing cycles.Write Automated test cases.Work with developers and QA team making sure Business requirements are completed and delivered as per accepted risk policy.Create and maintain accurate documentation for developers QA team.Provide work estimates to managers and project managers as requested.Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.Minimum of 3 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.Understanding of basic Waterfall and Iterative project management concepts.Experience with QA system development and test project life cycle and methodologies.Ability to work effectively with product development and systems management.Experience in Nodejs and React or other Javasript framework and tech stack.Experience working with GIT or other version control and repository management system like github/bitbucket.Experience deploying test versions of software on servers for testing.Experience documenting defects.Experience with prioritizing defects based on user impact and organizational impact.
