At NGDATA we are looking for a highly skilled Lead Java Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow our R&D facility in Pune. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer with a hands-on mentality and the ambition to build out and lead a team of developers. Preferably you have some experience in technical team leadership. Very good communication skills are a must as you will be working closely with other R&D centers in Europe and Singapore. We offer you a dynamic environment in an emerging industry of Customer Data Management. We work with a full stack of Big Data technologies (HBase/Hadoop Hive Zookeeper AWS) we write Java code and support our engineering staff with continuous integration and automated QA frameworks. We envision that you will spend about 50% of your time on the technical side and 50% guiding a team. What do we need from you? Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for Big data technology. Have very good communication skills in English both written as well as verbal. Have 10+ years of experience in Java software development. Have the ambition to grow a team of software developers. Have the willingness to work closely with overseas teams. What would be nice to have?
