We are looking for an individual with Writing maintainable and scalable code Helping us with our big technical decisions Picking up a project and running with it Designing and implementing new features in a highly scalable and maintainable manner Writing code that runs in the cloud (AWS EC2 SNSSQSKinesis Lambda EMR DataBricks etc) Developing data models Java 8 Spring-boot Experience in writing complex queries in SQL. 5+ years of experience in building scalable applications/analytics services is requiredWorked on complex SaaS applications in a service oriented architectureStrong knowledge of SQLComplete understanding of and rigorous approach to testing (TDD or BDD) continuous integrationMust know how to effectively manage your time and reliably shipStrong problem solving skills attention to detailExperience in quick delivery of business value through release management and agile methodologies preferably experience with SCRUMA highly collaborative personality and excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable with all levels of managementExperience and Skills That Are Nice to Have Scrum/Agile methodology working group experienceExperience with distributed computing from design implementation and supporting in productionJava 8 features (streams lambdas fluent-style programming etc.)Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database technologiesExperience with software engineering best practices design patterns and anti-patterns
