• JD | Full Stack Developer Responsibilities As a full stack developer you will leverage your Node/Java skill in coding and architecting You will Design and build scalable REST API or service for Clipjoys Mobile and Web Apps Take ownership of a project from start to finish delivering on time and with high quality code that is thoroughly tested Lead the backend team to build features and work very closely with other stakeholders (front-end developers product managers UI designers etc.) Ensure Data Security and Scalability of the Service to large audiences What Are We Looking For In You You have 3+ yrs of experience in building backend applications Web Apps & Analytics You have worked on Video-Streaming Services You have a solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures algorithms and software design Experience in building large-scale server applications & systems server applications using Micro Service Experience with Elastic Search MongoDB Redis - preferred You have been in a Test-driven application development environment Strong grasp of Backend Architectures and applications Prior experience in Hadoop is a plus Enthusiasm to learn and contribute in a challenging & fun-filled startup Knack for problem solving and follow efficient coding practices About Clipjoy Clipjoy allows users to watch short videos with interesting regional content (Ex: Hindi Tamil Bangla ). The videos are usually of short duration generated by Video bloggers small studios and others which can be watched anywhere anytime. Clipjoys recommendation engine with AI / ML suggests the most relevant videos for each user. With access to faster 4G speeds and Smartphones Indians crave for interesting video content that is local or regional and which is directly relevant to them. Close to 75 of all internet traffic is expected to be video soon and ClipJoy plans on bringing to every Indian the content of his or her choice.
