Job Description

• We are hiring for Data Scientist for a leading company in Bangalore. Experience Level: 5 to 10 yrs Experience Required Programming and Design Skills Dev. Environments and Frameworks. C/C++ Java Python & R ML Frameworks and libraries such as Scikit-learn TensorFlow and Apache Spark NoSQL Database Eclipse Spring Contribute to the continuous improvement of our search/analytics web service API powered by Scala Play Framework and Akka Worked on big-data technologies for data analytics including Spark Kafka Elasticsearch Cassandra and Vertica (SQL) Desirable: Microservices ?AWS Docker Mesos Kubernetes knowledge/training/certification a plus Knowledge and Skills: Good understanding and experience in Machine Learning techniques libraries and frameworks Experience in design and development of Cloud Service Models e.g. PaaS and exemplary skills such as Web Services API development service packaging & deployment automation serverless computing Strong in computer sciences with hands on experience in algorithms and data structures Strong software design and implementation skills and the ability to evolve perspectives on choice of proposed solutions Good understanding of Networking Storage Virtualization and Container technologies Desirable: Exposure and experience to IoT domain and associated Data Analytics Use Cases High tolerance for uncertainty and changes in direction and the ability to design develop and debug. Recent experience in startups is a plus. Great communication skills and an ability to work successfully independently or as part of teams across groups and locations in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with outside partners and work constructively in an open source community. Candidates should have a strong history of successful software design and implementation as well as having experience with a large systems-level code base and should be prepared to be a key technical contributor to a substantial multi-year development effort.
