A Day in the Life of a Data Science & Deep Learning Senior Consultant / Manager While you are encouraged to be innovative in devising solutions below are a set of activities that typically helps a data science & deep learning senior consultant achieve his/her business goals in a structured way: The team leader: o You will be expected to work on multiple data science projects at a time and to develop/train/supervise other staff on the same o Support business leadership in responding to requests for data science services proposals o Lead research and develop useful data science tools which would ease the project flow. Working on the QC checks and share usage best practices across the globe o Performing research and development projects/internal Firm Projects to develop methodology and tools which could be used in future projects o Reporting and preparing presentations for the client meetings. o Excellent skills in interpreting and communicating the statistical results and their business application Lead development of end-to-end Data Science & Deep Learning solutions: o Sourcing relevant internal and third party data for the clients solution needs o Efficient data pre-processing including the usage of augmentation and development using Lightning Memory-Mapped Database (LMDB) o Application of Deep Learning to devise solution of the business problem at hand including usage of statistical learning matrix factorization computer vision image processing pattern recognition and advanced machine learning algorithms o Post development of the deep learning model use hyper-parameter tuning to improve model o Reporting accuracy metrics and outcomes of the model development to the client o Translating the mathematical results into cognizable insights that can be acted upon o Documenting model specifications Deployment and Engagement: You will be expected to jointly lead implementation of the solution with technology experts and use the results to promote better and scientific engagement of the clients and their customers resulting in better business outcomes. Travel: Based on client needs Work Location: Gurgaon Bengaluru Hyderabad Work Timing: 10 am to 7 pm Data Science (DS) practitioners provide end-to-end business solutions using advanced machine learning and AI techniques to analyze large quantities of internal and external information to unlock previously unknown but meaningful business relationships allowing clients to significantly improve profitability through more informed insights. Data science techniques include: predictive modeling deep learning simulation optimization scenario planning and data mining. Our Data Mining methodology is based on more than 20 years of R&D in artificial intelligence and neural network applications. Qualifications Education: M.Sc. or PhD in computer science electrical engineering or a related field with a background in computer vision machine learning and deep learning Prior Work Experience: At least 5 to 12 years of experience developing and implementing algorithms based on machine learning techniques. At least 5 years of experience in computer vision preferably experience working with video. Relevant work experience including full time industry experience or as a researcher in a lab for Image Classification Deep Learning project with ML Open source Framework Technical Skills: Excellent working experience with Deep Neural Networks (ANN CNN R-CNN and RNN) Deep Learning Open source Framework (e.g. Theano Caffe Torch TensorFlow) experience Deep experience in working with Python (including deep learning and image processing toolboxes) for at least 5 years Excellent knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques like Generalized Linear Models clustering forecasting methods tree-based non-linear models like decision trees random forests boosting techniques (GBM Adaboost) SVMs recommender systems to name some. Development using C C++ Java etc. and automation techniques using UNIX Shell scripting VB etc. Excellent working experience of more than one machine learning toolkits including but not limited to SAS R MATLAB Octave MS Azure etc. Visualization tools like Tableau Qlikview D3.js Pentaho etc. Domain & Consulting Skills: Project leadership experience for at least 2 years in dealing with clients in one or more industries including Financial Services including Banking and Insurance Retail Life Sciences & Healthcare and Consumer Products Leading teams to plan and execute on assignments Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load meet project deadlines and drive results Excellent verbal and oral communication skills including presentations and negotiations Ability to work effectively as a member of a virtual team or independently.
