Senior Software Engineer - Java

Job Description

• Role:, Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal support
• Understand functional requirements and raise clarifications with BAs and others concerned, Should be able to estimate from detailed functional specification, Create and implement unit(JUnit) test cases, Able to code base and perform Unit testing independently, Capable of resolving application user requests and perform thorough analysis to respond within specified SLA, Should be able to follow the development life cycle suggested, good to have exposure to Agile development methodology, Willing to work in multiple projects with minimum knowledge transfer
• Good communication skills and must be proactive in nature
• , Profile, 6-8 years of working experience, Technical stack Strong core Java, MultiThreading, Spring, Hibernate, GWT/web design, XML, SQL/PLSQL and Software design patterns
• Full Hands-on & Individual contributor role, Ability to act as a TL/ Back-up TL for a Technical team of size 6 and take end-to-end responsibility of Technical delivery from Bangalore
• Complex Problem solving skills & Strong analytical capability, To have a work experience/ exposure on Continuous delivery (TDD, Clean code, etc.), Good understanding of Software lifecycle, Knowledge of software Design principles, General understanding of investment banking industry is desired, Should have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attitude and be a team player, Rapid learner to understand the application with minimal guidance, Evolution, , Personal Skills:, Proven Ability to learn and work on latest technology, have good analytical skills and pickup faster
• Should have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and be a team player
• Should have been engaged on one project for at least 10 months
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore model would be an advantage ,
