Data Scientist - Predictive Analytics/miss

Job Description

• - Support the identification design and implementation of continuous profit improvement levers through data analytics to achieve revenue and strategic goals established by the organization annually - Develop analytical solutions that provide actionable insights on customer and sales behaviours and patterns which will support the organisation sales & marketing strategies for growth - Gather and consolidate customer sector and other market information and tackle other intelligence challenges to support the work on sales pipeline development and other revenue generation modes nationally and internationally - Work cross-functionally and support ad hoc analyses to give a more structured shape examine recent and historical data identify salient trends develop statistical models and surface key insights. Educate BU Heads on how to leverage this data as an asset for their function/business - Synthesize diverse complex information to develop a compelling story with data and insights - Recognize opportunities for process improvements and drive standardization. Support development and management of metrics KPIs and dashboards - In a nutshell be responsible for initiating and developing all data analysis and market insights for us. - Must have an MBA in Finance from a premier business school - 7-12 years of experience in analytical consulting predictive analytics and MIS preferably hands-on programming using SAS/reporting tools - Hands on experience in Analytics Business Intelligence tools to derive MIS (highly preferred) - Experience of working with large distributed database systems - Strong knowledge in reporting tools data manipulation statistical models and visual presentation - Excellent written and oral communication skills particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts - Effective presentation skills and experience with audiences of all levels - Strong customer / user orientation ability to think - big picture- and understand the key trends and levers that drive the business Please refer to the Job description above
