Job Description
  • Knowledge of specific tools: a. Database and Software development(Must have) - SharePoint - InfoPath - SQL - MS access Excel VBA (Advanced Macro) b. Analytics(preferred) - Histograms (Specific control limits) - Normal Probability Plots (min - max value) - Scatter Diagram (cause / effect) - Correlation Effects between two variables 2. Communication - Excellent communication skills is required since the resource needs to do a lot of front end communication with sr. management at CLIENT - Candidate must undergo interview with CLIENT 3. Job description: - GENERAL FUNCTION: Assumes responsibility and accountability for developing and maintainingaccurate and detailed reports for each assigned functional area within the assigned Division/department. Independently reviews monitors reconciles and reports on all relevant metricsfor the department. Plays an active role in daily weekly and month-end reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works with managers to ensure that the needs and expectations of the Executives are metthrough a concise operational reporting dashboard providing the departments with data in orderto have visibility into losses and operational results. - Accurately creates maintains and distributes all assigned reporting within expected timeframes: - Preparation of daily weekly and monthly management updates. - Identifies and implements reporting enhancements. - Plays a key role in the integration of new initiatives. - Work with clients IT partners to retrieve all needed data from various systems and review thatdata for accuracy. - Performs maintenance to existing schedules and reports for changes to information. - Seeks out new tools and methods to automate production reporting. - Independently verifies accuracy of report information to maintain data integrity. - Monitors and analyzes trends fluctuations or anomalies in results reacts quickly to determineroot causes and makes recommendations to implement process improvements. - Ensures that analytical tools evolve as business changes. - Identifies data collection and storage requirements for data management and work with appropriate departments to successfully implement those requirements. (i.e. via Data warehouse). - Acts as the central resource for ad hoc reporting and determines best practices in developingnew value added reporting for the division / department. - Develops knowledge base to keep current on existing and emerging issues; applies thisknowledge to assist managers in developing measurements of success. - Responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate business relationships with internal andexternal customers. - Responds to inquiries from management auditors and other authorities regarding the data in reports issued by the department. - Performs various special projects as assigned. Competency : - Experience with minimum of 3-4 years - Proven experience of working on complex analytics assignments/ projects/ engagements Please refer to the Job description above
