• JOB SUMMARY: The Data Insights Specialist will collaborate closely with the various services delivery teams under the general direction of GDS leadership to develop and evangelize a services data insights solution focused on customer adoption and customer outcomes supplier intelligence innovation adoption subcontractor performance and other key insight areas. The Data Insights Specialist will gather metrics needs and standards for business outcomes and stabilization work with internal technical teams on the solution implementation and deliver training on the solution providing real-time analytics and services insights. As part of his/her responsibilities the Data Insights Specialist will also participate in the assessment of the various disparate services data sources that exist today define a process for delivery and identify automation opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with delivery teams to proactively create and evangelize data analytics and business intelligence solutions for SAP Aribas service delivery stakeholders Work closely with business owners to distill analytical & decision support requirements. Collaborate with internal technical team on design and build of a data solution combining various data sets from spurious sources while thinking strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design. Contribute to the design architecture and development of innovative services data analytics solutions for processing structured and unstructured data. Ensure accuracy of results produced as a result of data analytics and business intelligence solutions. Offer interpretation of analytical findings relative to the business. Collaborate with the Data Insights Lead to identify actionable insights suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating results to services delivery groups. The Data Insights Specialist should be highly motivated with a passion to solve difficult reporting problems learn new concepts and tools and can do so in an energetic and fast-paced environment. Work closely together with extended global services delivery leaders sales and marketing in support of real-time analytics and insights. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Econometrics Finance or a closely related discipline 2-3 years of experience in Analytics Management consulting or in Marketing research (or other Research/analysis experience) Solved complex critical problems related to significant and unique issues. Used extensive research and interpretative thinking. Utilized innovative methods and data modeling techniques in developing solutions. Worked on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables High skill level with both thinking through the big picture AND applying attention to detail Experience with relational database concepts Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight-deadlines from multiple constituents Extremely proficient in Office products such as Excel MS Access PowerPoint Word Excellent writing documentation communication and inter-personal skills. Willing to work in Shifts 2PM IST 11 PM ISTOTHER DESIRED SKILLS Knowledge and experiences in Supply Chain Management Spend Management Finance a plus Understanding of procurement concepts from Source-to-Pay Procurement and Supply Chain a plus Experience with data visualization in a Business Intelligence context Hands on experience with data query and computing tools such SQL R SAP S4/Hana Predictive Analytics Library (PAL) Automated Predictive Library (APL) Hana Studio or similar.
